You acknowledge that neither Darkside Diesel, LLC, nor any of its agents, affiliates, employees, and associates may be held responsible or accountable for any type of damage, litigation or other legal action which may arise either from your legal or illegal use of our product(s). Buyer and/or user assumes all responsibility for any damage resulting from the use or misuse of this product(s).

Buyer/user hereby waives all remedies or liabilities, expressed or implied arising by law or otherwise, (including without limitation any obligations of seller with respect to fitness, merchantability, and consequential damages) or whether or not occasioned by seller’s negligence. Darkside Diesel, LLC disclaims any warranty and expressly disclaims any liability for personal injury or damages.

Buyer/user acknowledges and agrees that the disclaimer of any liability for personal injury is a martial term for this agreement and buyer agrees to indemnify seller and to hold seller harmless from all claims related to or arising from the installation and/or use of the product purchased.

Under no circumstances will Darkside Diesel, LLC be liable for any damages or expenses by reason of use or sale of any such products or services.

Darkside Diesel, LLC assumes no lability regarding the improper installation, misuse, or misapplication of its products. It is buyer’s/user’s responsibility to ensure proper installation and use. Products can be capable of the following; – Making a vehicle capable of obtaining conditions exceeding safe vehicle speeds based on mechanical condition of vehicle, such as tire speed ratings. – Making vehicle capable of exceeding mechanical limits of engine speed, power output, and mechanical stress upon the powertrain, driveline, chassis, and body of the vehicle. – Producing power and torque output(s) requiring superior driving skills and techniques in order to be safely applied.

It is the sole responsibility of the buyer of these products to make buyer and any user of these products aware of these additional capabilities and adjust the installation and/or use of the product accordingly, or to not install or use the product.

Warranty Information

47/48 Transmission Warranty – Automatic Valve Body

Darkside Diesel transmissions include a non-transferable, two-year unlimited milage craftsmanship warranty from the date of purchase. For transmissions installed by Darkside Diesel, the warranty work and labor shall be covered at our shop. For transmission not installed by Darkside Diesel, removal and reinstall labor will not be covered, and warranty work must be performed by Darkside Diesel.

This warranty does not cover hard parts. This includes shafts, cases, gear train, etc. Electrical components are excluded from the warranty after ninety days from date of purchase. Additionally, this warranty does not include towing, shipping, rental vehicle fees, lodging, loss of use, loss of time or any per diem damages.

This warranty will be voided if the transmission has been altered, sustained abused from neutral drops, excessive power braking, water damage, overheating, installation errors, driveline vibrations, or damage caused by loss of fluid due to external leaks.

Transmissions not installed by Darkside Diesel must be installed by a professional automotive shop where proper cooler flushing is performed, and pressures can be checked to receive the warranty.

The customer must have the break-in service performed at approximately 1,000 miles. The break-in service includes having the fluid/filter changed and bands adjusted. Subsequently, the transmission must have the fluid/filter changed and bands adjusted annually or 15,000 miles, whichever comes first.

47/48 Transmission Warranty – Full Manual Valve Body

68RFE Transmission Warranty

Darkside Diesel transmissions include a non-transferable, two-year unlimited milage craftsmanship warranty from the date of purchase. 68RFE transmissions will only have a warranty if installed by Darkside Diesel.

This warranty does not cover hard parts. This includes shafts, cases, gear train, etc. Electrical components are excluded from the warranty after ninety days from date of purchase. Additionally, this warranty does not include towing, shipping, rental vehicle fees, lodging, loss of use, loss of time or any per diem damages.

This warranty will be voided if the transmission has been altered, sustained abused from neutral drops, excessive power braking, water damage, overheating, improper tuning, driveline vibrations, or damage caused by loss of fluid due to external leaks.

Warranty is void on vehicles with 35″ or larger tires unless proof of differential gear change is provided. Proof must be provided upon install.

The customer must have the break-in service performed at approximately 5,000 miles. The break-in service includes having the fluid/filter changed with OEM filters and DEXMERC transmission fluid. Subsequently, the transmission must have the fluid/filter changed with OEM filters and DEXMERC transmission fluid annually or every 15,000 miles, whichever comes first. Warranty is only eligible if serviced by a transmission shop. Service records, including mileage, date of service, quantity of fluid, fluid type, and filter part numbers, must be provided to maintain the warranty.

Refunds & Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We are a reseller, which means some our products come from various manufacturers. Because of this, all returns, refunds, and warranties must follow the original manufacturer’s policies. We’re here to help guide you through the process.

Non-Returnable Items

Some products cannot be returned due to manufacturer restrictions or customization reasons. These items are not eligible for return or refund (unless the manufacturer confirms a defect or damage on arrival):

  • Items marked as final sale or non-returnable
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Transmissions
  • Electronic parts
  • Valve bodies
  • Opened consumables (e.g., filters, oil, etc)
  • Software or digital products including tuning and tuning devices
  • Used or installed items that cannot be resold
  • Any product the manufacturer excludes from return eligibility

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us and we will check the manufacturer’s policy for you.

Returns & Refunds

To request a return or refund:

  • The product must meet the manufacturer’s return conditions.
  • It must be in original condition (unless the manufacturer allows otherwise).
  • Requests must be made within the manufacturer’s return window.
  • Proof of purchase is required.

Some items may not be eligible based on the manufacturer’s rules.

Manufacturer Approval Required

All returns and refunds depend on manufacturer approval. Once you submit a request:

  1. We contact the manufacturer on your behalf.
  2. They review and decide on eligibility.
  3. We follow their final decision regarding a return, replacement, repair, or refund.

We cannot process returns or issue refunds without manufacturer authorization.

Warranty Claims

Warranty coverage is provided by the manufacturer. We will help initiate a claim, but all decisions are made by them, including coverage, repair options, or replacement approval.

Refund Timing

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Processing times may vary depending on manufacturer review.
  • Shipping or restocking fees may apply.

Return Shipping

Return shipping instructions come directly from the manufacturer. You may be asked to ship items:

  • Straight to the manufacturer, or
  • Back to us for forwarding

The buyer will be responsible for return shipping.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us within 3 days of product delivery.
  • Provide photos and any requested information.
  • The manufacturer will determine whether the item qualifies for replacement, repair, or refund.

Gift Certificate Terms & Conditions

1. About Your Certificate

This certificate is purchased with a specific amount of funds, redeemable to buy goods and services at Darkside Diesel LLC.

2. Using Your Certificate

You may use your certificate for purchases at Darkside Diesel LLC. Merchant reserves the right to determine eligible purchasable items. Each time you use your certificate, you authorize us to reduce the value available on by the amount of the transaction. Your certificate cannot be (1) redeemed for any cash value (2) used to obtain cash in any transaction (3) used to exceed the balance of the funds available. We may refuse to process any transaction that we believe may violate the terms of this Agreement. If you attempt to use the certificate when there are insufficient funds associated with it, the transaction will generally be declined, or the remaining funds will be redeemed leaving the transaction with a balance that you as the purchaser are responsible for.

3. Obtaining Card Balance Information

You may obtain information about the amount of money you have remaining on your certificate at no charge by contacting darksidedieselllc@gmail.com.

68RFE Relearn Process

For 2010+ Dodge Ram trucks equipped with the 68RFE automatic transmission, you must perform a re-learn procedure each time the CSP switch is turned between the different tunes to allow the transmission to adapt to the different horsepower levels.

To perform this procedure, simply drive 25-30 miles in stop and go city driving while applying no more than 30% throttle.

It is important that the transmission shifts up and down as much as possible. Continued highway speeds should be avoided during these 25-30 miles.

Failure to perform this procedure can cause transmission harm or failure.
